New Media Zone now on GPDT!

Go Places Do Things (GPDT) have launched the media zone area for young people to upload videos and audio to the website…

Are you a budding filmmaker? Have you made a short film at school/college? Have you made a short animation? Maybe, filming is your hobby. If so, GPDT needs your videos!

Young people and event organisers have told us GPDT would be an even better site if we added an exciting new multimedia zone. Well… we’ve heard your views and brought you some answers!
The new and interactive media zone will give young people and event organisers the opportunity to send in their videos and audio materials to be uploaded to the site.

Unregistered users can watch as many videos as they like, while registered users can also add comments to the video/audio.

The media zone includes the ability to:

  •  Add comments to any video/audio providing you are registered on the site.
  • View videos in full screen
  • Play, pause and rewind functions

All registered users will need to enter a screen name upon registration, as this will be used when adding comments to video/audio.

If you have a video/audio that you think would be great for the site then send in your videos to:
GPDT, Bristol City Council, Youth and Play Services, Colston 33 (2nd floor), Colston Ave, Bristol, BS1 4UA

So go on, don’t be shy; let’s get those videos in! Lights, Camera, Action!

Please do not send original copies as videos/audio sent in will not be returned and remember GPDT cannot add any TV shows, music videos, music concerts or commercials without permission unless they consist entirely of content you created yourself.

Please Note:  Maximum file size is 500 MB and we can accept video formats that are mov, mpg, mpeg, avi, wmv, mp4, m4v and vob.
