Supporting Wall Event – Helping Young People with Housing
We’re celebrating the National Housing Federation’s Supported Housing Month. Come along to the new offices on Tuesday 30th March from 4-7pm.
It’s seven months since we launched Independent People, the largest provider of housing, support and advice to young people aged 16-25 in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
We exist to support young people to build independent lives. We do this by helping people find (and keep) a safe, stable home. We also offer non-judgmental support and advice on counselling, training and help finding jobs. No other organisation in the area has the same wealth of experience and resources.
Come along to hear from the young people we support, meet our staff and learn about our plans for the future. If you're feeling artistic you can contribute to our "Supporting Wall" - a reflection of what people think about support and independence.
